Anna Stroud, Nurse Practitioner

Anna graduated from Ohio State University with an MS in Nursing. She has over 9 years of nursing experience. Outside of work, her interests include spending time with her husband and son going for walks, bicycling, traveling and reading books on health and nutrition.

Alla Gierhart, Office Manager, and Surgery Scheduler

Alla is very caring and compassionate. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the Ohio State University (OSU). She has extensive experience in orthopedic and neurosurgical healthcare spanning 10 years. She likes to spend her spare time with her family.

Scott Naples, Physician Assistant

Scott is a former US Navy Medical Officer who works part time as our surgical Physician Assistant in the operating room.  He holds  degrees from Miami University, University of Missouri, and Drexel University. His early career interests were clinical research investigating  the neurologic and metabolic consequences of obesity and physical inactivity. He has multiple publications.  His clinical medicine experiences have taken him around the world as a U.S. Navy medical officer and included deployment to the Middle East where he served as a trauma team leader and surgical first assist. He moved back to Ohio to be closer to family and friends. Along with his position with Neurosurgical Associates, he also works within Emergency Medicine.  In his spare time, Scott enjoys running, golfing, cooking, spending time with his dog, and traveling.

Emily Barker, Physician Assistant

Emily assists Dr. Shehadi part-time in the operating room as a surgical Physician Assistant. She also has experience in emergency medicine. She earned her master’s degree from Ohio Dominican University. She is experienced and passionate. She is a team player and has great bedside manners.

Gabriel Jeronimo, Research Assistant

Gabriel is a full-time pre-med student at Ohio State University. He works part-time as a research assistant at the office.
He is highly driven and motivated.

Venus Williams, CMA

Venus has been in the medical field for 20 years. She started as a phlebotomist and went on to Dialysis before becoming a certified clinical Medical assistant. When she is not at work she is, making crafts, cooking, or spending time with one of her 3 children or 2 dogs. She is dedicated to healthcare and plans to continue her education into the RN program or respiratory therapist.
